EXPERIENCE

Event Planning

Recruitment planning spans from December to September. Key stages in the Recruitment planning process include updating Recruitment Rules, date approval from the University, and coordination with all chapters on campus to accommodate individual needs, all leading up to Orientation and recruitment.

Social Media Communications

I worked directly with the 2022 Director of Social Media, Makayla Oritz, to develop a cohesive voice for all recruitment promotions and created a comprehensive posting schedule leading up to closing registration. Utilizing Instagram as one of our primary communication channels, we had over 1,200 students register for Primary Recruitment.

Leadership

Being in a Vice President role strengthened my leadership abilities as I was head of the Executive Recruitment Team for the Panhellenic Executive Board, and was responsible for hosting monthly round tables with chapter leadership. This allowed me to work with many different personalities, learned how to delegate tasks while leveraging my team's strengths, and navigate conflict within group settings. I was also able to attend the Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values (AFLV) conference to learn and expand my leadership, communication, and marketing skills.

Melissa Oxenhandler, Coordinator of Fraternity & Sorority Life at University of Colorado Boulder, Panhellenic Advisor

If I could use one word to describe Lindley’s leadership on the Panhellenic Executive Board, it would be balance. She was able to understand the wants and needs of the larger community while also taking the time to hear how she could support those who needed more assistance. She always came ready with her own great ideas, but did not shy away from others' thoughts and feedback. She worked hard for the Panhellenic community while also keeping up with school, internships, and her personal life, and she did so seamlessly. From day one in her role, Lindley’s passion and care for her community was evident - Panhellenic was extremely lucky to have her hard work and dedication.
